University-Wide Language Programme

The University-Wide Language Programme (UWLP) offers all current undergraduate students the opportunity to learn a modern language as part of their course.

The units allow you to start at the right level for you - from beginners to advanced.

If you are unsure of your level, you can take a diagnostic test (French, German, Spanish, Italian only)

UWLP courses are available to any current undergraduate student who has "open units", or the specified option to take UWLP units, as part of their degree.

Some courses are tailored to the needs of students intending to study abroad as a compulsory part of their degree programme (for example, "Study in Continental Europe").
